Younan Jouki Obituary
Younan Jouki died peacefully at his home on September 10, 2020 at the age of 92, surrounded by his loving wife and family.
Younan was the loving husband of Sarah Nehme Jouki. Born in Turkey, he emigrated to Lebanon at the tender age of nineteen, where he immediately met and fell in love with Sarah. They enjoyed a marriage that lasted an incredible seventy-two year span.
Younan is survived by his wife, Sarah and their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, namely:

Younan was the “go- to” source of help to every one of his family members, friends, acquaintances, and anyone who crossed his path. He will always be remembered as a very loving and well - loved husband, devoted father, and friend to all. He will be missed dearly.
Visiting hours and the funeral service will be held at Saint Matthew’s Syriac Orthodox church, 149 Park Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132. Visits will begin at 10:00 a.m. then to be followed by the service starting at 1:00 p.m. The funeral procession will leave from church and head to Saint Joseph Cemetery, 990 Lagrange Street, West Roxbury, for the burial service.
In accordance with COVID guidelines, masks must be worn, and social distancing observed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Younan’s name to Saint Matthew’s Syriac Orthodox Church. Special envelopes are available at the church for cash or check donations.
