Venus Eva D (Duremdes) de Guzman

Venus Eva D. de Guzman of West Roxbury formerly of Davao, Philippines passed peacefully on September 23 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 90.  Beloved wife of the late Dominador de Guzman.  Devoted mother of Vilma Sobrecarey and her late husband Oliver of West Roxbury, Digna Delmar and her husband Godofredo of Roslindale, Dennis de Guzman and his wife Vilma of Tibanban, Philippines, Vivien Pitoy and her husband Cecilio of Manikling, Philippines and Verna Lagare and her husband Oliver of Hyde Park.  Cherished sister of Dr. Generoso Duremdes of Princeton, West Virginia, Gil Magno Duremdes of Philippines, George Duremdes of Philippines and Gilda May Duremdes of California.  Loving "Lola" of Doven, Ashley, Nico, Via, Deanne, Gerard, Nicole, VJ and Johnver.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.  Visiting hours will be held Wednesday morning from 9:10:30AM at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak Street, Hyde Park followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pius X Church, Milton at 11AM.  Relatives and friends are invited.  Interment will be private at family's request.
