Robert P Riel

Robert P. Riel "Bob" of Hyde Park passed peacefully on November 6 at the age of 89.  Beloved husband of Josephine L. (Genzone) of 62 wonderful years.  Devoted brother of Richard Riel and his companion Phyllis Maston of Leominster and the late George Riel Jr.  Also survived by many other relatives and friends.  Visiting hours will be held Friday morning from 9:30-11:00 at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home 22 Oak Street Hyde Park followed by a mass of christian burial at Most Precious Blood Church Hyde Park at 11:00.  Internment at St Michaels Cemetery relatives and friends invited.  Bob was a proud member of The Massachusetts Country Music Hall of Fame and was the recipient of many awards and he was a Navy Veteran.  Bob also was a longtime member of Most Precious Blood Church and donated many hours to the church and was a longtime Eucharistic Minister
