Oscar H Salas

Oscar H. Salas of Hyde Park, born in Lima Peru, passed peacefully on December 8th at the age of 78.  Beloved husband of Dilia (Medina) of 45 years.  Devoted father of Oscar Salas Jr. and his wife Vanessa of Dedham and Leslie Karnes and her husband Daniel of West Roxbury.  Loving "Papi" of Andrew, Latyr, Matthew, Dilia and Sophia.  Also survived by many other relatives and friends.  Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak Street, Hyde Park, MA Saturday morning December 18th at 9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Most Precious Blood Church, Hyde Park at 10AM.   Visiting hours Friday evening from 4-7PM.  Interment will be private at family's request.  Please in lieu of flowers, all donations can be made to ALS Association Massachusetts Chapter (donate.ma.als.org), Healthwell Foundation (healthwellfoundation.org), or Massachusetts General Hospital
