Sister Karen Joseph (Irene) Hamm, devoted member of the Daughters of St. Paul in Jamaica Plain, passed peacefully on May 25 at the age of 66. Cherished daughter of the late William Hamm and Josephine “Johannah” Olson Hamm. Devoted sister of Christine Manaois, Cynthia Hamm, Claudia McCarthy, Douglas Hamm, and the late Stephen Hamm. Sr. Karen Joseph was a devoted member of the Daughters of St Paul religious community for over 60 years. Private services will be held at the Daughters of St Paul Chapel in Jamaica Plain. Interment at the Daughters of St. Paul Mausoleum. Donations in Sr. Karen Joseph’s memory can be made to the Daughters of St Paul.
