Guy J Amara

Amara, Guy J. of Hyde Park passed peacefully on December 4 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 83.  Beloved Husband of Rosa (Melpignano) of 62 years.  Devoted Father of Mary Gerber and her husband Howard of Dedham, John Amara and his companion Wendy of Quincy and Paul David Amara of Hyde Park.  Cherished Brother of Olga Marella.  Loving Grand Pa of Randy and Kelly Gerber and also survived by many loving nieces nephews, in-laws and friends and close neighbors that were always around to give a helpful hand.  Guy was a proud  US Navy Veteran.   Guy loved his family and was always helping in any way he could.  He enjoyed fishing, planting his garden and conversing with his neighbors in the warmer months.  You could always find him working in his yard or on a home beautifying project.  Guy loved and enjoyed the life God gave him. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Guy may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Boston.  Due to the Covid-19 pandemic all services will be private.  A memorial service shall be held at a later date.  Information will follow.
