Gerard Murray Obituary

MURRAY, Gerard "Gerry" of Dedham, formerly of Hyde Park, passed peacefully after a long battle with Leukemia surrounded by his loving family at the age of 61.  Beloved husband of Margaret (Foley) of 35 years.  Son of the late David and Carol Murray.  Devoted father of Brendan Murray of Plymouth and Ryan Murray of Medford and his two loving dogs Fiona and Flynn.  Cherished brother of David and his wife Donna of Hyde Park, Carlyne Raulinaitis and her husband Paul of Dedham and Karen Kubel and her husband Steve of Easton.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-law, and friends. Visiting hours will be held Thursday morning from 9-11AM at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak Street, Hyde Park followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Most Precious Blood Church, Hyde Park at 11:30AM.  Interment at Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.  Relatives and friends invited.  Gerry was a long time and retired City of Boston employee at the assessing department.  He had a love for all Boston Sports, especially the Patriots.  0ne of Gerry's favorite past times was his love for fishing and being on the water.  Please in lieu of flowers, all donations can be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society www.lls.org
