David Brimage

David Brimage was born in Portsmouth, VA, July 15, 1949 and departed this life, April 20, 2021.
David moved to Boston with his family in the early 1950's. He is the ninth child of sixteen siblings. David attended Boston Public schools. He worked with his father in the boiler cleaning business before he found his niche in life, a master of fish cutting; it was a God-given talent. If you gave him a chance at employment, you would not be disappointed and you would have repeat customers.
David was a member of The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, under the great leadership of Bishop Omega Shelton, Apostle and General Overseer. He believed to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord | 2 Corinthians 5:8.

David is preceded in death by his parents: Staten and Hattie Brimage; Brothers - Micah, Willie, William, Elmer Staten; Sister - Irene Clark; Daughter - Dora Brimage; Grandson - Robert Marquis Pringle Brewington.

He leaves to mourn: a long-time companion Ms. Diane Wood and dog, Tyson; Ex-wife, Doris Brimage and their children: David Brimage, Jr., Angie Brimage; Vanita Brewington and their children: Timmy Brewington, David Brewington, Robert Brewington, Josie Brewington, Maria Brewington; 20 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 10 Siblings: Emma Brimage-Parmenter, Floyd Brimage (Erma), Gloria Cribbs (Billy), Eva Brimage, Omega Brimage (Pam), Brenda Salomon, Estelle Brimage, Samuel Brimage, Deborah Brimage-Williams (Eddie), Sherrod Brimage (Anita) and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The Brimage and Brewington families thank you for all your thoughtfulness, kind words and condolences, during our time of grief.
