My deepest condolences to your family on behalf of myself and my mom, Dorothy Galante Zaccaria. When my mom used to bake, one of her favorite recipes was making hermits; My mom would always say this is “Alice Palumbo’s” recipe. The best hermits ever!
I now do the baking & we continue to enjoy Alice’s hermits.
With loving prayers,
Michele Zaccaria

My deepest condolences to Alice’s family.
Growing up, my mom, Dorothy Galante Zaccaria would make hermits. She would always say how she got the recipe from Alice Palumbo! I still make hermits to this day and share them with my mom (age 92) who still credits Alice for this recipe.
Love Michele Zaccaria

Lorna and family, my sincere condolences. It was a pleasure to have Alice come to the Ohrenberger. She was certainly a character, I loved hearing her stories! Take care, Patty

my deepest sympathy . Alice was a wonderful woman and a very special member of St. Anthony’s Ladies Society. She had so much knowledge to share with us about the Society she was a member for so many years. We will all miss her and we all loved her.
