POWERS, Joseph R. Of Dedham, formerly of Hyde Park, passed peacefully on January 5th, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie (Sullivan); devoted brother of Catherine Hart of Dedham and the late John and Patricia Powers; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak St., HYDE PARK, Thursday morning, at 9, followed by a Mass of Chrisitan Burial at St. Mary's Church, Dedham, at 10. Visiting hours Wednesday evening, from 4-8 at the Funeral Home. Relatvies and friends invited. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park.
