SAWAN, Elsa (Benhur) Of West Roxbury, passed peacefully on December 30th, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 80. Beloved wife of Joseph S. Sawan of 55 years. Devoted mother of George Sawan and his wife Anne of Medfield, and Joseph Sawan Jr. and his wife Michelle of Sherborn. Cherished sister of Janet Nore of Dover, and the late Georgina Aude of Roslindale. Loving "Sitto" of Anna, Joseph, George Jr., Steven, Harry, Jillian, Natalie, Teddy, Eliza, and Bella Sawan. Also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Visiting Hours will be held Wednesday evening, from 4-8 p.m. at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak Street, HYDE PARK. Relatives and friends invited. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday morning at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon Church, 61 Rockwood St., Jamaica Plain. Interment at Mt.
