I am absolutely shocked and saddened to learn tonight that my dear friend, Lauren, has passed away. We worked together at Boston Gas and remained friends from then on. We went through a lot of ups and downs together, and I'd think of her often, not even knowing what happened. If someone could contact me to let me know how she passed, I would be most grateful. My email is: burwell2356@aol.com. I remember going to that funeral home when her Dad, Mom and Brother passed. What an amazing person she was. Always kind, and we had a lot of laughs together. Family was everything to her and I know she had lots of friends. God Bless all the people that loved her. Our memories will have to keep us comforted as we go on without her. Until we meet again. My family, and extended families, have been using the services of Carroll Thomas funeral home – for generations. Recently, we had the need to use their services for my younger brother's death. As always, the services were professional, very caring and personal. Alex, Roger and family were always very responsive and attentive to any requests we had and even added their own personal touches. Everything was perfect. It's not always easy, when you are mourning, to think of everything that must be done. This family, as usual, took care of everything - including arranging religious services and dealing with the cemetery requirements. During this Covid time, these are not always easy tasks but we felt confident in their handling of everything for us. The service, at their Hyde Park location, was beautifully handled in a very unique, pretty, outdoor setting. They thought of everything and we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for the peace of mind you afforded us during our difficult time.
