It is hard to conceive that my loving and beautiful sister, Peachie has passed. It will leave a hole in my heart that will never be filled. We were very close growing up, when Peachie was 12 years old and it was raining she pulled me close and covered me with her coat so I would not get wet. I never forgot that memory, ever. We had only spoken a week before, reminiscing about the past, and her wonderful laugh and sense of humor always made me feel so close to her, even though we were miles apart. We talked about the time when her daughter, Debbie had the twins, Jarrod & Jodi, and came over to my house for a cookout and we put the babies in the big bureau draws to sleep because we didn't have cribs for them. Another fond memory was when my daughter Kimmy went into labor with her son Christopher, Peachie came down to help go with us during a torrent of a storm to the hospital, and while I was trying to get the suitcase into the elevator, the door closed on it. My beautiful sister started laughing which just became contagious to everyone, including my daughter who was in labor! My sister was my confidant, and I was her's. Our lives were so similar, we both lost a daughter and our husbands too soon. We supported one another in the face of adversity as well as sharing the good times. My heart is broken, and I don’t know what else to say, except that I love you and miss you with all of my heart. Your loving sister, Lily

I also send my love and condolences to my godson and nephew who I love dearly, Jimmy, and to my niece, Karen and to all of my sister's grandchildren and great-grandchildren. May our good Lord bring you the peace and comfort that you seek as you face some of the toughest days of your lives.

I offer you my prayers that they may ease the pain of your mother’s loss. May the Lord bring together all your loved ones so that they can be with you in your time of mourning. My sister was a wonderful girl with a big, big heart. God Bless you all.
