SULLIVAN, Walter A. Of Hyde Park, passed peacefully on December 15, at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Frances E. (Canavan) "Sis" of 68 years. Devoted father of Michael of Dorchester, Kathleen Sullivan of Dorchester, Denise Egan of Pembroke, Doreen Raboin of Burlington, Robert of Plymouth, Daniel of Acton, Thomas of Franklin, Christine Sullivan of Dorchester and Kevin of Hyde Park. Cherished brother of the late John, William, Edward, Richard, Alfred, Paul, James and Mary Jane Sullivan. Loving "Papa" of 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak St., HYDE PARK, Wednesday morning at 9, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Most Precious Blood Church, Hyde Park, at 10. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday evening 4-8. Children's Room available. Interment at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Walter was a member of the Boston Edison Retirement Club; City of Boston Senior Shuttle Driver; he was very politically active; & a Marine Veteran.
