John M. Techiera

TECHIERA, John M. "Johnny", of Hyde Park, passed peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on March 8, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Joanne (Tanous) of 49 wonderful years. Son of the late John G. and Linda A. (Campia). Loving and devoted father of Michael C. and his wife Kim of Foxborough, John M. Jr. and his wife Meredith "Meri" of Westwood and Beth A. Techiera-Conary of Westwood. Loving "Papa" of Michael A., Nicolas R., Isabella L., John E., Thomas A., and Matthew J., and also survived by many special and loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and very close friends.

Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak St., HYDE PARK, Monday morning at 9, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Most Precious Blood Church, Hyde Park, at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday evening from 4:00-8:00PM at the funeral home. Childrens Room available. Interment at the Gardens of Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury.

Johnny was the Owner of Linwood Fuel that has been a local family business for three generations. He was a member of Local 25 Teamsters. Johnny was part of the first graduating class of 1961 at Catholic Memorial H.S. Johnny had a passion for riding his Harley and did many long trips with his good friend Pete Rush, most importantly Johnny was a true family man who loved making special memories with his entire family and friends. Johnny will be greatly missed.
