John T Galvin

GALVIN, John T. Jr. Of Mashpee and Jupiter, FL, formerly of Hyde Park, passed peacefully on December 10, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Patricia A. (Shaughnessy). Devoted father of John T. III of Hyde Park, Michael E. and his late wife Zoe of Franklin, Stephen F. of Easton, Patrick J. of Mansfield, Peter L. of Franklin, and Timothy J. of Hyde Park. Cherished brother of Elizabeth, Joan and Joseph Galvin, all of Hyde Park, Walter of Andover, and the late Robert, Mary and Margaret Galvin. Loving "Pa" of Shane, Sarah, John and Mollie. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Visiting hours will be held Sunday evening from 4-8 at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak St., HYDE PARK. Children's Room available. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning at 11 at Christ the King Church, 3 Job's Fishing Rd., Mashpee. Relatives and friends invited. Interment at National Cemetery, Bourne. John was a late Korean War Army Veteran and a retired Vice President of Operations at Fleet Bank.
