Corey P McElligott

Corey P. McElligott, 42, of Hyde Park, passed away unexpectedly October 1, 2019. He was born March 21, 1977 in Boston. He attended Boston schools until high school where he graduated from Norfolk County Agricultural High School in Walpole.  Corey continued his education earning his Master Barber License and opening his own barber shop, as he loved to give fresh cuts and keeping people looking their best! Corey was a bit of a thrill seeker. He enjoyed motorcycles and dirt bikes, but mostly his passion was riding with his boys. Whether on ATV trails or on the bike, they loved to ride together. Corey was preceded in death by his mom, Linda McElligott and Francis and Geraldine Burns or as everyone knew them, Nan & Pa. Corey is survived by his beloved boys Andrew & Alex McElligott and their mom Christine Bennett of Brockton; his brothers Jesse McElligott of Mansfield and Justin McElligott of Brockton; and many, many friends whom he considered his family.  

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home in Hyde Park. Visiting hours will be Sunday October 6 from 2-6 PM. Burial will be private.
