Chong H Sleeper

SLEEPER, Chong Hui "Ji Ji" (Chae) of Hyde Park, passed peacefully on May 7th at the age of 72. Beloved wife for 47 years of Charles L. Cherished mother of son, Spencer C. of Hyde Park, and daughter, Charlene L. of Roslindale. Grandmother to Matthew of Roslindale. Also survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Born in South Korea in 1945, Ji Ji found work as a schoolteacher. She then met and married Charles, while he was in the U.S. Army stationed in Korea. She became a naturalized citizen after moving with Charles to the U.S. Ji Ji had a very successful "Green Thumb" and loved to care for her garden; she raised many plants at home over the years and grew vegetables, which she generously shared with family and friends. She also enjoyed drawing, knitting, and reading.

Ji Ji was a loyal member of the Jehovah's Witnesses (Hyde Park congregation) for many years and will be sorely missed by all her friends. Her family has requested privacy in all matters. Donations can be made online at: https://apps.jw.org/E_DONATE.
