Beena K. Preth

• Beena K. Preth of Hyde Park, passed peacefully on May 26th surrounded by her loving family at

  the age of 49. Beloved wife of Vinod Taroll for 22 years. Daughter of Shanta Kumari and

  Govindan Kattilaprath. Mother of Roshan and Aditya. Sister of Vinod Kattilaprath and Rajesh

  Kattilaprath. Also survived by loving nieces, nephews, in laws, cousins and friends.

   

  Sharing the courageous spirit of her parents, Beena always empowered and helped

  uplift those around her. Whether it was as a diligent friend, a talented coworker or as a

  privileged mentor, she always brought the best out of herself and those around her. She

  especially found her muse in spending time with her family and making their dreams a

  reality, whether they be in the United States or back home in India. The beautiful wife and

  matriarch loved gardening, travelling, and excelling at cooking. She will be seen by all

  of us as an extraordinary trailblazer for women, children, families and many more.

  May her soul rest but her life’s work and dreams continue to flourish in each of us.

   

  Visiting Hours will be held Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 at the Carroll Thomas Funeral

  Home, 22 Oak Street Hyde Park. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend. Funeral Services

  and interment will be private at family’s request.
