Anna (Prata) Valente 

Of Hyde Park, formerly of Pontecorvo, Frosinone, Italy, May 27^th . Beloved wife of the late Gaetano Valente, also of Pontecorvo. Devoted Mother of Benedetto "Ben" and his wife Nancy Valente of Newton, Maria and her late husband Clinton Battersby of Norwood, Angela Lipton and her husband Steve Lipton of Newton and Catherine Valente and her husband John Marchetti of Dedham. Beloved grandmother of John, Jacob, Arianna, Alexandra, Serena, Andrew, Isabella and Benjamin. Beloved daughter of the late Benedetto and Maria Cesira Prata (Nonni) of Pontecorvo, Italy.  Beloved Sister of the late Tony, John and Armando Prata.Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

 Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home 22 Oak St.  HYDE PARK, Friday morning 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Most Precious Blood Church at 10AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours 4-8 on Thursday. Interment will be at St Michaels Mausoleum
